One image is worth a ton of words, or is it worth a few hundred likes?
In this generation, online images are the best way to attract and lure more people to use a website. But to do this you need to make sure everything posted is legal, otherwise it will go against copyright laws and restrictions.
Here's a list of sites that we use to get royalty free media, or stock photos:
istockphoto is a very useful source for royalty free images, icons and more. This beautifully designed website includes many categories to choose from.
Royalty free and rights managed images. Music is also available.
A very popular website for images. It recently launched something called getty images prestige, which is a hand picked selection of the world’s most powerful imagery. This website also offers a mobile application that has a lightbox gallery, and sharing images for free by embedding.
Additional royalty free website by Gettyimages.
A very well designed website that is easy to navigate; Shutter stock has over 2 million of the best royalty free stock videos. It even offers quirky and chirpy cartoon music for children in a category called cartoon time.
More great stock images and they have a logo generator. If a user wants to generate their own original logo they can follow a few simple steps to come up with something unique and their own.
